STIB-MIVB is adapting transport offer
The STIB-MIVB is reducing its transport offer in order to adapt to the current crisis. Due to the generalized containment, the STIB is adapting its frequencies. This measure echoes to the request to limit non-essential journeys and allows the driving personnel to concentrate their efforts on meeting priority needs.
From Monday 30/3, the STIB-MIVB will readapt its offer to meet the needs of more trips during the week. STIB will continue to pay particular attention to the periods during which the majority of home-to-work journeys are made, as well as to the lines serving hospitals and care facilities. Certain non-essential lines could, if necessary, be temporarily interrupted. Travelers are invited to use the other lines during this period.
Reminder: use our transport only if strictly necessary, respect the maximum number of people per vehicle and keep a sufficient distance with each other (1.5m).
Passengers should no longer take into account the 'paper' timetables. They are invited to consult the real-time information on the dynamic displays, the mobile application and the website.
The STIB-MIVB informs and answers passengers' questions live via Facebook and Twitter, or by telephone at 070.23.20.00 (0.30€/min). Thank you to all travelers for your understanding and thank you to STIB employees, including those working behind the scenes, for their commitment to getting everyone to their destination.
