Tram 94 turns into tram 8 with Roodebeek as end stop
As from Saturday 29 September, tram 8, previously tram 94, will run on the boulevard de la Woluwe/Woluwelaan, which was fully reconfigured. The new line has been extended for 4 stops to Roodebeek.
The tram operates on a dedicated route on the new section and offers an improved connection with the metro as well as a better service for both Woluwe-Saint-Pierre and Woluwe-Saint-Lambert. The 4 new stops of tram 8 are Parc des Sources/Bronnenpark, Voot, Woluwe Shopping and Roodebeek.
The travelling time for this new section is 6 to 7 minutes during daytime. Coming from Woluwe, it will only take you about 20 minutes to go to the place Wiener/Wienerplein district.

Inauguration on 28 September
On Friday 28 September between 3 p.m. and 9:30 p.m., you are invited to discover a preview of the new line 8 section on the boulevard de la Woluwe/Woluwelaan.
For this occasion, the new section (4 stops between Musée du Tram/Trammuseum and Roodebeek) will be operated free of charge. Between 3 p.m. and 6 p.m., a storyteller will portray the history of tram 94 and the boulevard de la Woluwe/Woluwelaan.
Bus line 42 modified
The route of bus 42 is shortened by 4 stops and Roodebeek will be the terminus as from Saturday 29 September.
