What is changing?
The new STIB-MIVB application, which was launched in October 2018, has been updated since 26 August. This latest update is more ergonomic and offers major improvements on the various screens.
Thanks to this update the real-time information is already displayed on the first screen and it is more intuitively accessible. You can view the waiting time directly at the stops on various screens such as the screens Stops or Itinerary.
From now on, the network disruptions are marked with a triangle, which will allow you to display them easily.
During the launch of our application, creating an account was essential in order to manage your favourites. However, this appeared to be too arduous for many clients. Wishing to meet our customers’ requests, we have removed the account creation as a compulsory step to manage your favourites.
Moreover, you can still plan your route from your point of departure to your point of arrival including all 4 public transport operators.
A complete makeover for the screen Stops
You want to know when your next metro will arrive? This screen has totally been remodelled to allow you to find the info you are looking for right away.
After having registered a stop as a favourite, go to the tab "Stops" to display the information such as the first and second departures or the nearby located stops.
Since May 2019, a new functionality "My MOBIB" has been integrated in the app. This new functionality allows you to display and modify your personal data linked to your card and to receive a notification when your season ticket is about to expire.
You can also purchase your transport tickets directly via the application. A few clicks and you're done.
STIB-MIVB attaches the utmost importance to the protection of your privacy.
By creating an account on the app, you get a personalised experience.
Your personal data necessary to provide you this personalised experience is stored in the databases of STIB-MIVB and is processed securely by STIB-MIVB.
In the near future, the personalised features offered by our app will be extended.
You can also be assured that STIB-MIVB will not market these data to external parties.
You can at any time:
- rectify/delete your personal data directly in the app;
- delete your account through our website;
- activate/enable the options using some of your personal data.
STIB-MIVB shall respect the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
