Trams 3, 10, 35 and buses 46, 47, 57
From Monday 23 September 2024, the new tram line 10 will ensure a direct link between Neder-Over-Heembeek and Ukkel/Uccle, via the city centre.
Other bus and tram lines in the north-east of Brussels will also be reorganised: new tram line 35, new itineraries for bus lines 46 and 47, lines 10, 35 and 47 taking over the routes of lines 3 and 57, etc.
And this is just one of the many highlights of 2024, that you can read all about on the blog.

Tram 10
Travelling between Hôpital Militaire/Militair Hospitaal and Churchill? You can now take the brand-new tram line 10. And don't miss the inauguration celebrations on 21 September.
The new 5.5-kilometre line includes 10 new stops between Hôpital Militaire/Militair Hospitaal and Heembeek, offering easy connections. The new stops have been designed to be accessible to all, including wheelchair users.
Line 10 mostly runs on a dedicated route. This way, you can travel faster and with greater capacity, thanks to modern, spacious trams.
In addition, you'll find many other connections on your journey, whether by bus, tram, metro, or train. For example, at Gare du Nord/Noordstation, Rogier, De Brouckère and Gare du Midi/Zuidstation.
Tram 35
Travelling between Esplanade and Bienfaiteurs/Weldoeners? You can now take the new tram line 35.
Line 35 takes over the itinerary of line 3 between Esplanade and Heembeek and strengthens line 7 between Heembeek and Meiser. As a result, you'll enjoy more trams and more capacity on this part of the line.
Tram 3
You used to take tram 3 between Churchill and Heembeek? You travel now on line 10. The itinerary doesn't change, only the number.
You used to take tram 3 between Heembeek and Esplanade? You travel now on the new line 35. Here again, your journey doesn't change, except for the number.
Were you travelling to and from both sides of Heembeek on line 3? You can now change from line 10 to line 35 at Heembeek, and vice versa.
The number of line 3 will be back in a few years, as metro 3.
Bus lines 47 and 57
You used to take line 57 between Hôpital Militaire/Militair Hospitaal and Gare du Nord/Noordstation? You can now take tram 10, with or without bus 47.
Between Hôpital Militaire and Heembeek, bus 47 follows the same itinerary as bus 57, via Chaussée de Vilvorde/Vilvoordsesteenweg and Marly.
For a direct connection between these 2 stops, take line 10: it's faster and more comfortable.
Bus 46
Travelling between Tour & Taxis/Thurn & Taxis and Pannenhuis? You can now take bus 46.
Line 46 is extended from WTC to Pannenhuis through pont Suzan Daniel/Suzan Danielbrug and Tour & Taxis/Thurn & Taxis to provide a direct connection.
