A renovated and more accessible station

For greater safety, modernity, and accessibility for all, the renovation project of the Parc station is being carried out in three main phases:

• Phase 1 (completed at the end of 2021): Installation of a first elevator connecting the street level to the station and a new emergency exit from the platforms to the Parc de Bruxelles.
• Phase 2 (ongoing) (late 2022 → early 2025): The renovation includes the installation of three new elevators, replacement of seven escalators, completion of floors, walls, and ceilings, integration of a new artwork, modernization of equipment (lighting, speakers, furniture, etc.), and updated signage.
• Phase 3 (under study) (2027 → 2030): Construction of a new access to the station via Rue Montagne du Parc, combining station compliance with evacuation standards with improved accessibility, thereby increasing its attractiveness.

Safety First

A new emergency exit connecting the platforms to the Parc de Bruxelles was completed in Phase 1 to enhance the security of the station.

Redefined Accessibility

To ensure accessibility for people with reduced mobility, four elevators will be installed in the station.

Comfort and Convenience: Public Restrooms

Public restrooms will be installed in the station. This initiative aims to improve user experience by providing an essential service for their comfort.

Modernity, Efficiency, Sustainability, and Artistic Expression

The region is investing in a complete overhaul of the station's finishes and existing technical equipment to ensure their reliability and efficiency for years to come.

Additionally, this project includes the decommissioning of all obsolete cables in the station. To date, nearly 60 km of cables have already been removed.

The project also celebrates artistic expression and cultural enrichment with the integration of a new artwork and the enhancement of existing pieces.
