Do you work in a school?
Would you like to raise your pupils' awareness of responsible and sustainable mobility in the city? Give them the tools to know the do's and don'ts of using public transport? Or introduce them to the STIB, its sites and its jobs?
We have a range of educational and fun projects to suit all ages.

For everyone – Behind the scenes
Every year we welcome primary and secondary school classes to show them around our facilities. During these visits, several itineraries can be envisaged, allowing children to push open the doors of the company's head office, as well as certain ateliers or tram, bus or metro depots. It's an opportunity to enter places that are usually closed to the public and discover some of the more than 300 different jobs at the STIB.
Practicalities:
- Visits are free and open to children aged 8 and over (3rd primary).
- We accept only one class per visit (maximum 25 pupils).
- For safety reasons, two accompanying adults are required per group.
Would you like more information or to book a visit? Contact us by telephone on 02/515.20.57 or by e-mail at relationspubliques@stib-mivb.brussels.
For primary schools – The MobX Adventure
Every year, we run an awareness-raising and prevention campaign for 5th and 6th year primary school pupils, the "MobX Adventure". It includes various activities: enigmas, a mystery box and challenges on the theme of mobility. Through these activities, pupils are invited to think about a variety of themes, such as sustainable and responsible mobility in the city, or safety and civility on public transport in Brussels. It's the perfect way to acquire the tools they need to become responsible travellers on our network... while having fun!
The MobX Adventure is free. It covers three two-hour activities (2 x 50 minutes), two of which take place in the classroom and one outside, at an undisclosed location in Brussels. Animators and experts from the STIB will supervise the activities, supporting the pupils in their adventure and sharing their experience with them.
Registration for the 2023 - 2024 school year is now closed. To be informed of the launch of the next campaign, to find out more about the school projects or for any more specific requests, contact the Prevention & Social Cohesion team at societal@stib.brussels.
