STIB-MIVB is committed to protecting your privacy and your personal data (hereinafter referred to as ‘the data’). We aim to ensure that you can use our services with complete trust and transparency. For this reason, we would like to inform you as completely as possible about the data processing we carry out via this Personal Data Statement (hereinafter ‘the Statement’), in accordance with regulation 2016/679 of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data (hereinafter ‘GDPR’).

This Declaration applies to all services offered by STIB-MIVB, as well as its websites and applications. It does not apply to sites, applications and services that have dedicated statements or policies that do not incorporate, or refer to, this Statement.

To whom does this Statement apply?

This Statement applies when STIB-MIVB processes your data as:

  • Customer or former customer: if you are a regular or non-regular user of the STIB-MIVB network (regardless of the transport ticket you have), the STIB-MIVB website or STIB-MIVB’s mobile application, if you have a customer account, or if you contact us via social networks.
  • Business to business (B2B) partner: if you are one of our suppliers or professional customers as a natural person or if you act as a contact person or representative for one of our suppliers or professional customers (legal persons).
  • Third parties: if you have a relationship with STIB-MIVB in another capacity, e.g. in the context of an administrative fine or as a local person (non-exhaustive enumeration).
