Station Parc/Park now has 4 lifts and 7 escalators. Travel is smoother, and the station is fully step-free for all passengers.

Comfort and Convenience: Public Restrooms

Public restrooms will open soon as part of Phase 2, adding extra comfort to every journey.

Modernity, Efficiency, Sustainability, and Artistic Expression

The Region is completely renewing finishes and technical installations to keep them reliable and energy-efficient for years to come. Additionally, this project includes the decommissioning of all obsolete cables in the station. The project also champions art and culture: the new piece “Mers et Océans” brightens the station, while existing artworks are being restored.

 

A project in three phases

Phase 1 (end of 2021)

  • First lift installed between street level and platforms
  • New emergency exit to Parc de Bruxelles/Warandepark 

Phase 2 (2022 → autumn 2025)

  • 3 additional lifts (4 in total) and 7 escalators
  • Modern lighting, furniture and signage
  • Integration of the artwork “Mers et Océans” by Marie-Françoise Plissart
  • Public toilets opening soon

Phase 3 (2027 → 2030)

  • New entrance via Parc de Bruxelles/Warandepark to improve evacuation and accessibility
