The STIB-MIVB is removing unused tram tracks at the Chaussée de Mons/ Bergense Steenweg - Clemenceau Avenue/ Clemenceaulaan junction. The area will then be resurfaced to improve safety and comfort.
What is happening and why?
During the spring break, the STIB will remove unused tram tracks at the Chaussée de Mons/ Bergense Steenweg - Clemenceau Avenue/ Clemenceaulaan junction. The area will then be resurfaced to ensure safer and smoother traffic conditions.

Works organisation
The works will be carried out in two phases:
- Phase 1: Clemenceau Avenue/ Clemenceaulaan temporarily closed as a dead end
- Phase 2: Ropsy Chaudron Street temporarily closed as a dead end
This phased approach helps limit disruption.
Traffic and accessibility
Temporary parking restrictions are in place around the works area. Traffic on Chaussée de Mons/ Bergense Steenweg is organised on a single lane and regulated by temporary traffic lights. Please follow the on-site signage.
Bus lines 46 and N13 will continue to operate on their usual routes. No changes are planned.
