Tram track renewal: phase 1
Following the utility works, STIB-MIVB will start renewing the tram tracks.
From 14 September to 6 November 2026:
- Rue de l’Étoile/Sterstraat will be closed to all traffic, including access to garages and driveways, from the junction with Rue de Stalle/Stallestraat up to Rue Keyenbempt/Keyenbemptstraat (not included);
- Rue des Myosotis/Vergeet-me-nietjesstraat will become a dead-end street at Rue de l’Étoile/Sterstraat. It will remain accessible via other streets and a local diversion will be put in place;
- access for pedestrians, emergency services and waste collection services will remain guaranteed;
- parking restrictions will apply at certain locations around the works zone.
From 2 November 2026, Farys is also planning works between Rue Fleurbeek/Fleurbeekstraat and no. 120 Rue de l’Étoile/Sterstraat. These works are expected to last no more than two weeks.
Tramwerken
