The start of the BXL Tour is at place des Palais/Paleizenplein. 

To make sure you do not miss a thing, STIB-MIVB takes you there. To reach the starting line of the BXL Tour, take:

• Metro 2 or 6 to Trône/Troon

Do you prefer waiting for the racers at the finish next to the Atomium or watching the Baloise Belgium Tour take off instead? No problem, take:

• metro 6 to the stop Heysel/Heizel
• tram 7 to the stop Heysel/Heizel
• tram 35 to Esplanade
• tram 51 or 93 to the stop Stade/Stadion

Trams and buses interrupted or diverted

A lot of streets are closed to automobile traffic for this event. This has an impact on all of the tram and bus lines that cross the itinerary of the race.

Tram 8 

Until 1pm, the trams are not operated between the stops Buyl and Musée du Tram / Trammuseum. 

Tram 25 

Until 1pm, the trams are not operated between the stops Buyl and Boondael Gare/Boondaal Station.

Tram 35

Until 1pm, the trams are diverted from Docks Bruxsel to Verboekhoven. Schaerbeek Gare / Schaarbeek Station is not served.

Tram 62  

Until 1pm, tram 62 is not operated between Léopold III / Leopold III and Bourget. At Léopold III / Leopold III, the trams serve only the stop direction Eurocontrol..

T-bus 92 

Until 1pm, the T-bus is diverted between the stops Schaerbeek Gare / Schaarbeek Station and Verboekhoven via the avenue Huart-Hamoir/Huart Hamoirlaan and the chaussée de Helmet / Helmetsesteenweg.

Bus 12 

Until 12.30pm, buses are diverted between the stops Genève and Schuman via square de Meudon/ Meudonplein, Merode station and place de Jamblinne de Meux/de Jamblinne de Meuxplein, and between the stops Maelbeek/Maalbeek and Luxembourg/Luxemburg via place Jourdan/Jourdanplein.

Bus 17 

Until 12.30pm, buses are not operated between the stops Les Trois Tilleuls/Drie Linden and Heiligenborre.

Bus 21 

Until 1pm,

• the buses direction Luxembourg/Luxemburg are diverted between the stops Colonel Bourg/Kolonel Bourg and de Jamblinne de Meux via square de Meudon/Meudonplein and the station Merode, and between Maelbeek/Maalbeek and Luxembourg/Luxemburg via place Jourdan/Jourdanplein.
• the buses direction Maes are diverted between the stops Luxembourg/Luxemburg and Maelbeek/Maalbeek via place Jourdan/Jourdanplein, and between Diamant and Colonel Bourg/Kolonel Bourg via square de Meudon/Meudonplein.

Bus 28

Until 1pm, the buses direction Brabançonne are diverted between the stops Georges Henri and de Jamblinne de Meux via Merode. 

Bus 29  

Until 1pm,

• the buses direction De Brouckère are diverted between Heydenberg and Plasky via square de Meudon/Meudonplein. 
• the buses direction Hof Ten Berg are diverted between Diamant and Heydenberg via square de Meudon/Meudonplein.

Bus 34  

Until 12.30pm,

• the buses are diverted between the stops La Chasse/De Jacht and Stratégie/Krijgskunde via the Boileau station.
• the buses are diverted between Église Saint-Julien/Sint-Juliaanskerk and Herrmann-Debroux via the itinerary of bus 72 between Clesse and Herrmann-Debroux.

Bus 36 

Until 1pm, the buses are not operated between the stops Chant d'Oiseau/Vogelzang and Musée du Tram/Trammuseum. The stops Kelle and Mertens direction Konkel are not served. 

Bus 38 

Until 1pm, the buses are diverted between Royale / Koning and Trône / Troon via Louise / Louiza.

Bus 41 

Until 1pm,

• the buses are not operated between the stops Montana and Brésil/Brazilië. After the stop Brésil/Brazilië, the buses continue to the stop ULB (terminus of bus 72), where they have their terminus.
• the buses are not operated between the stops Herrmann-Debroux and Transvaal. 

Bus 53 

Until 2pm, bus 53 is interrupted between De Wand and Karel Bogaerd. 

Bus 54 

Until 12.30pm, the buses are diverted from the stop Porte de Namur/Naamsepoort to Luxembourg/Luxemburg. The stop Trône/Troon is moved to rue du Luxembourg/Luxemburgstraat. 

Bus 56 

Until 1:30pm, the buses are not operated between the stops Heembeek and Verboekhoven. Stop Prés Communs / Gemenebeemden direction Maelbeek / Maalbeek is not served.

Bus 58 

Until 1:30pm, this line is not operated. 

Bus 59 

Until 1pm, the buses are diverted between the stops Schaerbeek Gare / Schaarbeek Station and Verboekhoven via the avenue Huart-Hamoir/Huart Hamoirlaan and the chaussée de Helmet / Helmetsesteenweg. 

Bus 63 

Until 12:30pm, the buses are not operated between the stops Meiser and Cimetière de Bruxelles/Begraafplaats van Brussel. 

Bus 64 

Until 1pm,

• the buses are diverted between Maelbeek/Maalbeek and Luxembourg/Luxemburg via place Jourdan/Jourdanplein.
• the buses are diverted between the stops Notre-Dame/Onze-Lieve-Vrouw and Patrie/Vaderland via chaussée de Haecht/Haachtsesteenweg, avenue Voltaire/Voltairelaan, avenue Paul Deschanel/Paul Deschanellaan and avenue Rogier/Rogierlaan. 

Bus 65 

Until 1pm, the buses are diverted between the stops Notre-Dame/Onze-Lieve-Vrouw and Coteaux/Wijnheuvelen via chaussée de Haecht/Haachtsesteenweg. 

Bus 66  

Until 1pm, the buses are diverted between the stops Conscience and Crossing via chaussée de Haecht/Haachtsesteenweg and avenue Voltaire/Voltairelaan. 

Bus 71  

Until 1pm,

• the buses are diverted between Royale / Koning and Porte de Namur / Naamsepoort via Louise / Louiza.

• the buses are not operated between the stops Buyl and Delta. Buses serve the stops Flagey, Levure / Gist, Rodin, Delporte and Etterbeek Gare / Etterbeek Station, and return to Buyl and Flagey.

• The stops between Cimetière d'Ixelles/Begraafplaats van Elsene and Delta are served by bus 95, that is diverted. 

Bus 72 

Until 1pm, this line is not operated. The stops between Ginette Javaux and Herrmann-Debroux are served by the diverted bus 34.

Bus 79 

Until 1pm,

• the buses direction Maelbeek/Maalbeek are diverted between the stops Colonel Bourg/Kolonel Bourg and de Jamblinne de Meux via square de Meudon/Meudonplein and the Merode station.
• the buses direction Kraainem are diverted between the stops Diamant and Colonel Bourg/Kolonel Bourg via square de Meudon/Meudonplein.

Bus 83 

Until 3pm, the buses are diverted between Améthyste / Amethist and Esplanade via chaussée Romaine / Romeinsesteenweg.

Bus 95  

Until 1pm,

• the buses are not operated between the stops Etterbeek Gare/Etterbeek Station and Cimetière d'Ixelles/Begraafplaats van Elsene, and between the stops Les Trois Tilleuls/Drie Linden and Wiener. From Cimetière d'Ixelles/Begraafplaats van Elsene, the buses are extended to Delta via the itinerary of line 71.

  • the buses are diverted between the stops Grand Sablon / Grote Zavel and Trône / Troon via Louise / Louiza

Temporary bus 96

Until 1pm, temporary bus 96 has its terminus at the stop Abbaye / Abdij. Stop Legrand is not served.
