Works in Berchem-Sainte-Agatha/Sint-Agatha-Berchem: interruption and diversion of buses 20 and 87

Due to works, carried out by Vivaqua and other companies in Berchem-Sainte-Agathe/Sint-Agatha-Berchem and Ganshoren, our bus lines are interrupted and/or diverted. These works are carried out in different phases and all information will be shared in this article.
Interruption Hunderenveld - Elbers and diversion between Berchem-Shopping and Hunderenveld
From 15 June to 18 September, bus 87 is interrupted between Hunderenveld and Elbers. The stop Hunderenveld direction Simonis is moved to the stop of bus 20 direction Gare du Nord/Noordstation. Bus 20 leaves from its drop-off stop, located on avenue du Roi Albert/Koning Albertlaan.
If you have to cross the interruption, you can take:
- Tram 82 between Berchem-Shopping / Gare de Berchem/Station Berchem and Van Zande (5 min. on foot from Thym/Tijm), Joseph Baeck or Gare de l'Ouest/Weststation
- Tram 9 from Hunderenveld to Simonis, then metro 2 or 6 to Gare de l'Ouest/Weststation
- Bus 20 from Hunderenveld (or Sept Étoiles/Zeven Sterren / Broek until 28 June) to Bastogne/Bastenaken, then bus 49 or 53 to Candries
- Tram 9 from Hunderenveld to Schweitzer, then tram 82 to Van Zande, Joseph Baeck or Gare de l'Ouest/Weststation
Bus 20
From 29 June to mid-September, bus 20 is also diverted between the stops Hunderenveld and Schweitzer via the itinerary of tram 9. The stops Sept Étoiles/Zeven Sterren, Broek, Place de l'Église/Kerkplein and Comhaire are not served.

Diversion of bus 83 between De Villegas and Nereus
As of 6 July, due to works in rue Sergent Sorensen/Sergeant Sorenstraat, bus 83 direction Val Maria/Mariëndaal is diverted between the stops De Villegas and Nereus via Collège Sacré-Cœur/Heilig Hartcollege and Delhove. The stops Beeckmans (direction Val Maria/Mariëndaal) and Sorensen are not served.
Diversion of bus 87 between Ganshoren-Sport and Collège Sacré-Cœur/Heilig Hartcollege
As of 6 July, due to works in avenue Van Overbeke/Van Overbekelaan, bus 87 is diverted between Ganshoren-Sport and Collège Sacré-Cœur/Heilig Hartcollege via avenue Charles-Quint/Keizer Karellaan. The stops Nereus, Lowet, Neuberger and Het Veroost are temporarily not served by bus 87. The buses serve the extra stops De Villegas and Pampoel of bus 83.

Works on place Marguerite d'Autriche/Margaretha van Oostenrijkplein
As of Monday 17 August, for about a week, works on place Marguerite d'Autriche/Margaretha van Oostenrijkplein cause the diversion of buses 83 and 87 between Gare de Berchem/Station Berchem and Pampoel via avenue Charles Quint/Keizer Karellaan.
The stops Bois des Iles/Eilandenhout, Basilix, Chopin (of bus 87) and Ganshoren-Sport (of bus 87) are temporarily not served. The works in avenue Van Overbeke/Van Overbekelaan continue and all stops of bus 87 up to Collège Sacré-Cœur/Heilig Hartcollege are therefore not served.
