Works on chaussée de Neerstalle/Neerstalsesteenweg: interruptions and diversions

Works are completed on chaussée de Bruxelles/Brusselsesteenweg, and are still ongoing on chaussée de Neerstalle/Neerstalsesteenweg, between chaussée de Ruisbroek/Ruisbroeksesteenweg and rue de Stalle/Stallestraat.

In 2026, works begin on rue de l’Étoile/Sterstraat (between the stops Carrefour Stalle/Kruispunt Stalle and Rodts).

Changes as from Monday 22 December 2025:

  • Bus 50 runs again between the stops Bervoets and Bempt via place Saint-Denis/Sint-Denijsplein
  • Bus 54 runs again between Saint-Denis/Sint-Denijs and Forest (Bervoets)/Vorst (Bervoets)
  • Bus 74 runs again between Charroi/Gerij and Forest National/Vorst Nationaal via Saint-Denis/Sint-Denijs.
  • Temporary bus line 96 runs only between Charroi/Gerij and Trinité/Drievuldigheid
  • Noctis bus N12 runs again between Union and Bempt via place Saint-Denis/Sint-Denijsplein

Until the end of the works, S1 trains will be available as an alternative to tram 82 and bus 50 for STIB-MIVB season ticket holders between Bruxelles-Midi/Brussel-Zuid, Forest-Est/Vorst-Oost and Uccle-Stalle/ Ukkel-Stalle.

Tram 82

Tram 82 is interrupted between Neerstalle and Drogenbos.

At Neerstalle, trams terminate on chaussée de Ruisbroek/Ruisbroeksesteenweg, near the hockey fields.

Direction Gare de Berchem/Station Berchem, trams serve a temporary Neerstalle stop, located at chaussée de Neerstalle/Neerstalsesteenweg 294, at the bus 50 stop to Gare du Midi/Brussel-Zuid.

To reach a stop between Carrefour Stalle/Kruispunt Stalle and Drogenbos, take bus 74. You can connect between tram 82 and bus 74 at all stops between Wiels and Zaman-Forest National/Zaman-Vorst Nationaal.

Only the stop Merlo is not operated:

  • To continue towards Drogenbos, take bus 74 at Carrefour Stalle/Kruispunt Stalle (bus 75 stop direction Bon Air/Goede Lucht).
  • To continue towards Gare de Berchem/Station Berchem, take tram 82 at Neerstalle (chaussée de Neerstalle/Neerstalsesteenweg 294).

Tram 97

Tram line 97 is temporarily suspended.

The following lines offer an alternative depending on your journey:

  • Louise/Louiza – Janson: tram 92
  • Janson – Wiels: temporary bus 96
  • Wiels – Neerstalle : tram 82
  • Carrefour Stalle/Kruispunt Stalle – Globe: tram 4 and bus 75
  • Marlow – Dieweg : tram 92

The stops Lombardie/Lombardije and Merlo are not operated.

Bus 50

As of 22 December, bus 50 runs again between the stops Bervoets and Bempt via place Saint-Denis/Sint-Denijsplein.

Bus 50 serves the brand-new stops Saint-Denis/Sint-Denijs and Max Waller!

Direction Lot Station:

  • Saint-Denis/Sint-Denijs: chaussée de Bruxelles/Brusselsesteenweg, by rue Jean-Baptiste Vanpé/Jean-Baptiste Vanpéstraat (next to the stop of tram 82 to Drogenbos)
  • Max Waller: chaussée de Neerstalle/Neerstalsesteenweg 133 (between rue de l’Eau/Waterstraat and rue Max Waller/Max Wallerstraat)

Direction Gare du Midi/Zuidstation:

  • Max Waller: chaussée de Neerstalle/Neerstalsesteenweg 116 (between avenue de la Verrerie/Glasblazerijlaan and avenue Général Dumonceau/Generaal Dumonceaulaan)
  • Saint-Denis/Sint-Denijs: chaussée de Bruxelles/Brusselsesteenweg 59, in front of the town hall

Stop Forest Centre/Vorst Centrum is withdrawn. We invite you to take the bus at the new stop Saint-Denis/Sint-Denijs.

Bus 54

From Monday 22 December, bus 54 runs again between Saint-Denis/Sint-Denijs and Forest (Bervoets)/Vorst (Bervoets).

Bus 54 serves the brand-new stop Saint-Denis/Sint-Denijs!

  • Direction Trône/Troon: chaussée de Bruxelles/Brusselse Steenweg, by rue Jean-Baptiste Vanpé/Jean-Baptiste Vanpéstraat (next to the stop of tram 82 to Drogenbos)
  • Direction Forest (Bervoets)/Vorst (Bervoets): chaussée de Bruxelles/Brusselse Steenweg 59, in front of the town hall

The stops Max Waller, Bempt, and Neerstalle remain served by tram 82 and bus 50. A connection with these lines is planned at Saint-Denis/Sint-Denijs.

Due to the market of Forest / Vorst, bus 54 is diverted on Saturdays until 2pm between Forest National / Vorst Nationaal and Bervoets, via the stop Monaco. 

As a result:

  • the stop Forest National/Vorst Nationaal direction Forest (Bervoets)/Vorst (Bervoets) is moved in front of the stop towards Trône / Troon
  • the stop Gare de Forest-Est/Station Vorst-Oost is not served
  • the stop Saint-Denis/Sint-Denijs is moved in both directions to rue Saint-Denis/Sint-Denijsstraat, next to house number 5.

Bus 74

As of 22 December, bus 74 runs again between the stops Charroi/Gerij and Forest National/Vorst Nationaal via Saint-Denis/Sint-Denijs and Gare de Forest-Est/Station Vorst-Oost.

The bus is also diverted from Victor Allard to Van Haelen via Carrefour Stalle/Kruispunt Stalle and Drogenbos.

Bus 74 serves the brand-new stop Saint-Denis/Sint-Denijs!

  • Direction Uccle-Stalle/Ukkel-Stalle: chaussée de Bruxelles/Brusselse Steenweg, by rue Jean-Baptiste Vanpé/Jean-Baptiste Vanpéstraat (next to the stop of tram 82 to Drogenbos)
  • Direction Clémence Everard: chaussée de Bruxelles/Brusselse Steenweg 59, in front of the town hall

The terminus Uccle-Stalle/Ukkel-Stalle is not served. Uccle-Stalle/Ukkel-Stalle station is accessible on foot from the stop Victor Allard, or with the S1 train from Gare de Forest-Est/Station Vorst-Oost.

The stops Wiels, Union, Châtaignes/Kastanjes, and Zaman-Forest National/Zaman-Vorst Nationaal remain served by tram 82.

On Saturdays until 2.00 pm, due to the weekly market in Forest/Vorst, bus 74 is diverted between Forest National/Vorst Nationaal and Bervoets via the stop Monaco.

As a result:

  • the stop Forest National/Vorst Nationaal is moved to avenue Zaman 58 (direction Clémence Everard), and avenue Zaman 53 (direction Uccle-Stalle/Ukkel-Stalle)
  • the stop Gare de Forest-Est/Station Vorst-Oost is not served
  • the stop Saint-Denis/Sint-Denijs is moved in both directions to rue Saint-Denis/Sint-Denijsstraat, next to house number 5.

Temporary bus line 96

A temporary bus line 96 operates as a replacement for trams 81 and 97 until 2026.

From Monday 22 December, the temporary bus line 96 runs only between Charroi/Gerij and Trinité/Drievuldigheid.

Stop Bervoets is still served by buses 50, 54, and 74.
