The centre of Haren is experiencing a considerable increase in population. It is therefore necessary to enhance the capacity of the popular lines 45 and 64. Line 64 alone offers very few possibilities for the inhabitants of this side of Brussels. With the new bus routes Haren, Evere and Schaerbeek/Schaarbeek will be better connected to the rest of the city.
Moreover, thanks to the new bus route of line 46, from now on, some districts of Anderlecht will have an optimal connection to the city centre and the Thurn & Taxis site.
Line 12 now runs every weekday all day long. The airport is thus exclusively operated by one line with a quick and comfortable service.
The line is extended from Luxembourg/Luxemburg to the metro station Trône/Troon in order to offer a connection with metro lines 2 and 6.
The new more direct route will operate the stop Meiser instead of Diamant.
Line 21 follows a different route from Permeke to the new terminus Maes via square Hoedemaekers/Hoedemaekerssquare and chaussée de Haecht/Haachtsesteenweg.
It now offers a new and more efficient connection between chaussée de Haecht/Haachtsesteenweg and the European district.
The line follows the same route the whole day and is no longer limited to Permeke.
From August 31st on, the airport will be operated every weekday all day long by line 12.
Line 45 is diverted between the stops Saint-Vincent/Sint-Vincentius and Oud Kapelleke via place de la Paix/Vredeplein (route of bus line 64). This new route allows a direct connection between place de la Paix/Vredeplein, the shopping Cora of Woluwe and the Woluwe Shopping Center.
Bordet Station will be operated by bus line 21 that now runs to Maes.
Line 45 is being operated by articulated buses, offering more space and comfort.
From Sautrday the 14th of September onwards, line 46 will be extended from the stop Buanderie/Washuis to WTC via rue Van Artevelde/Arteveldestraat, rue de Laeken/Lakensestraat and metro station Yser/IJzer. The new terminus is located at the stop Glibert.
The line offers a more efficient connection between several districts of Anderlecht and the city centre. The connection with tram lines 3 and 4 now takes place at the station Bourse/Beurs.
In a future phase, the line will be extended to Tour et Taxis / Thurn & Taxis.
Anneessens remains operated by tram lines 3 and 4 (32 in the evening) and bus lines 33 and 86.
From now on, line 62 runs to Eurocontrol every day all day long. The stops Fusée/Raket and Bourget, which will no longer be operated by bus line 65 from 31/08/19, thus remain operated at any time of the day.
Line 64 is diverted from the stop Vandenhoven towards Bordet Station where the new terminus is located.
The line is fully operated by articulated electric buses, offering more space and comfort.
Haren will be operated by bus lines 65 and 80, Machelen by bus line 65.
Line 65 is diverted from Da Vinci to Machelen where it replaces bus line 64.
NATO and Bourget remain operated by bus line 12 and tram line 62.
Line 80 is diverted from Bordet Station to Haren via the route of bus line 64.
Line 80 offers a new direct connection between Haren, Woluwe-Saint-Lambert/Sint-Lambrechts-Woluwe and Montgomery.
The terminus Maes will be operated by bus line 21.
