The MOBIB card is a chip card issued by different operators (STIB-MIVB, De Lijn, SNCB-NMBS and TEC) on which you can load your tickets.
It can be nominative or anonymous (basic card). It is no ticket as such, but a support that will carry your tickets and season tickets.

The digital ticket is available in our app.
This means that you first need to download the latest version of the app, log in or create an account to access the purchase platform.
Currently you can purchase the following tickets:
Brupass 1 journey: €2.70
Brupass 10 journeys: €18.90
Brupass XL 1 journey: €3.50
Brupass XL 10 journeys: €24.50Once you have completed your purchase, activate your ticket directly on your smartphone when you take the bus or tram, or scan the QR code to open the gates at metro stations.
For more information, please check out our webpage on the digital ticket. -
You can travel on our network by paying for your journey directly with your bank card (debit or credit), smartphone or smartwatch on the specific validators located in our buses and trams, and on the gates in stations.
Just hold your card, smartphone or smartwatch out in front of the validator, where the contactless logo is, and a green screen and an audio signal will indicate that your payment has been accepted.
One journey costs €2.30. Any connection within 60 minutes of first validating is free of charge. The maximum amount per day is capped at €8.40: this means that you reach the daily limit after four journeys on the same day. Any additional journeys are subsequently free of charge.
For more information, please check out our webpage on contactless payment.
