Strike affecting Brussels metros, trams, and buses
Due to a national strike, the STIB-MIVB network will be severely disrupted on 12 March 2026.
An initial forecast of the operating metro, tram and bus lines is available the evening before via our different channels.
The confirmed lines are announced the day itself, shortly before 6.00 am These lines run with reduced frequency. That’s why we always recommend considering alternatives.
