This edition is dedicated to 2 very special birthdays: 50 years of the metro and 100 years of the bus in Brussels.

A look behind the scenes

On Sunday 20 September, at STIB-MIVB, we exceptionally welcome visitors to the Jacques Brel depot.

During this free open day, discover what happens behind the scenes of the metro and the bus. Get in the driver's seat of a metro, discover the newest generation of electric buses and their charging infrastructure, and meet the people who make Brussels move every day.

This edition is extra special: the Brussels metro celebrates its 50th birthday and the bus its 100th birthday.

There’s plenty for children to enjoy too, with entertainment and various activities along the route. And if you get hungry or thirsty, you can head to the food trucks on site.
