Lost object
Have you lost something on our network?
If this has just happened on a bus or tram, the best thing to do is to wait for the vehicle in the other direction and ask the driver directly if he or she has been able to recover your item.
If you realise that your item has been lost for a longer period of time, you can report it to us using our contact form, giving as much information as possible about the item you have lost so that we can identify it, as well as your contact details.
You will only be contacted by telephone on the number you have given us if we find your item.
If you do not hear from us after 3 weeks, this means that we have unfortunately not received your item.
For the following items, which are very common and/or difficult to describe, we advise you to go directly to our Lost & Found office in the Botanique station to see if your item is there:
- Common items of clothing (coats, gloves, scarves, hats, etc.)
- Umbrellas
- Cuddly toys
- Keys
- Glasses
- Mobile phones/smartphones
- Personalised MOBIB cards. If you need your MOBIB card quickly, we advise you to request a duplicate from one of our BOOTIKs. Anonymous Basic cards are not kept.
Our Lost Property Office is located in the Botanique - Kruidtuin station (metro 2 and 6, tram 92 and 93, bus 61 and De Lijn) and is open on Mondays and Wednesdays from 12 to 6pm. To collect a found object, you will need to show proof of identity and pay a €5 administration fee. Items are kept there for a maximum of 2 to 3 months from the date of arrival.
