Rue Moris/Morisstraat and rue Antoine Bréart/Antoine Bréartstraat undergo a makeover. These long-term works require the interruption of tram 81.

Rue Moris/Morisstraat and rue Antoine Bréart/Antoine Bréartstraat are being redesigned from the ground up, in cooperation with the municipality of Saint-Gilles/Sint-Gillis and the Brussels Region.

Tram 81

As of Monday 27 April, tram 81:

  • is operated between Trinité/Drievuldigheid and Montgomery
  • is replaced by temporary bus 96 between Gare du Midi/Zuidstation and Trinité/Drievuldigheid
  • is replaced by T-bus 81 between Marius Renard and Gare du Midi/Zuidstation due to works chaussée de Mons/Bergensesteenweg

At Trinité/Drievuldigheid, the tram has its terminus at the usual stop direction Marius Renard.

The temporary bus line 96 is diverted from Barrière/Bareel to Gare du MIdi/Zuidstation via rue Théodore Verhaegen/Theodore Verhaegenstraat and avenue Fonsny/Fonsnylaan (itinerary of tram 81)

Stop Barrière/Bareel direction Trinité/Drievuldigheid has moved rue Théodore Verhaegen/Theodore Verhaegenstraat 6, at the usual stop of tram 81.

Stop Combaz and Rochefort are still served by bus 50, stops Wiels and Charroi/Gerij by bus 49 and 74

Stop Berthelot is not served. Stops Pierre Decoster (bus 50, boulevard Guillaume Van Haelen/Guillaume Van Haelenlaan (350m)) and Rochefort (bus 37, 48, 50, 350m) are next to this stop.
