Rue Moris/Morisstraat and rue Antoine Bréart/Antoine Bréartstraat undergo a makeover. These long-term works require the interruption of tram 81.

Rue Moris/Morisstraat and rue Antoine Bréart/Antoine Bréartstraat are being redesigned from the ground up, in cooperation with the municipality of Saint-Gilles/Sint-Gillis and the Brussels Region.

Tram 81

Tram 81 is interrupted between Avenue du Roi/Koningslaan and Trinité/Drievuldigheid. After Avenue du Roi/Koningslaan the tram continues to Wiels via the route of tram 82. 

The line operates in two separate sections: 

Tram 81 between Marius Renard and Wiels 

  • Between Avenue du Roi/Koningslaan and Wiels, tram 81 serves all tram 82 stops
  • At Wiels, the tram has its terminus at the tram 97 stop direction Louise/Louiza, on avenue Wielemans Ceuppens/Wielemans Ceuppenslaan 
  • The stop Avenue du Roi/Koningslaan is moved to the tram 82 stop on avenue Fonsny/Fonsnylaan 
  • The stop Barrière/Bareel is still served by bus 52 and temporary bus line 96. 
  • The stops Bethléem/Bethlehem and Guillaume Tell/Willem Tell are not served 

Tram 81 between Montgomery and Trinité/Drievuldigheid 

At Trinité/Drievuldigheid, the tram has its terminus at the usual stop direction Marius Renard. 

The temporary bus line 96 serves the section between Wiels and Trinité/Drievuldigheid: 

  • the stop Wiels is located on avenue du Pont de Luttre/Luttrebruglaan 195, across from the bus 50 stop direction Lot Station 
  • the stop Barrière/Bareel is located on avenue du Parc/Parklaan, at the bus 52 stop
  • the stop Lombardie/Lombardije is not served 
  • the stop Moris is located on chaussée de Waterloo/Waterlose Steenweg, at the TEC and De Lijn bus stop until 15 February, and is replaced by the stop Ma Campagne as of 16 February.
  • the stop Janson direction Trinité/Drievuldigheid is located on chaussée de Charleroi/Charleroise Steenweg, at number 178. In the direction of Charroi/Gerij, you can take the temporary bus line 96 at Trinité/Drievuldigheid. 
  • The stop Trinité/Drievuldigheid is located on rue de l’Aqueduc/Aquaductstraat, by number 53.

Temporary bus 96

The temporary bus line 96 covers the section between Barrière/Bareel and Trinité / Drievuldigheid and continues to Charroi/Gerij, partly replacing tram line 97.

  • Trinité/Drievuldigheid: rue de l'Aqueduc/Aquaductstraat 53, 
  • chaussée de Waterloo/Waterloosesteenweg 412, at the stop of bus 54 direction Forest (Bervoets)/Vorst (Bervoets)
  • Moris: chaussée de Waterloo/Waterloosesteenweg 346, at the stop of De Lijn & TEC buses direction Bruxelles-Midi/Brussel-Zuid
  • Barrière/Bareel: chaussée de Waterloo/Waterloosesteenweg 208
  • Combaz: avenue du Parc/Parklaan, in front of number 85
  • Rochefort: avenue du Parc/Parklaan, by the avenue des Villas/Villalaan
  • Berthelot: avenue Wielemans Ceuppens/Wielemans Ceuppenslaan 104, at the stop of the Noctis bus N12 direction Stalle (P)
  • Wiels: avenue du Pont de Luttre/Luttrebruglaan, at the stop of bus 50 direction Lot Station
  • Charroi/Gerij: avenue du Pont de Luttre/Luttrebruglaan 40, at the stop of bus 50 direction Lot Station

  • Wiels: avenue du Pont de Luttre/Luttrebruglaan 195, across from the stop of bus 50 direction Lot Station
  • Berthelot: avenue Wielemans Ceuppens/Wielemans Ceuppenslaan 99, at the stop of the Noctis bus N12 direction Gare Centrale/Centraal Station
  • Rochefort: avenue du Parc/Parklaan, by the avenue des Villas/Villalaan, on the main traffic lane
  • Combaz: avenue du Parc/Parklaan, before the intersection with avenue Clémentine/Clementinalaan, on the main traffic lane
  • Barrière/Bareel: avenue du Parc/Parklaan 6, at the stop of bus 52 direction Gare Centrale/Centraal Station
  • Moris: chaussée de Waterloo/Waterloosesteenweg 285, at the stops of De Lijn & TEC buses direction Alsemberg/Braine l’Alleud
  • Ma Campagne: chaussée de Waterloo/Waterloosesteenweg 349a, at the stop of bus 54 direction Trône/Troon
  • Janson: chaussée de Charleroi/Charleroisesteenweg 178,
  • Trinité/Drievuldigheid: rue de l'Aqueduc/Aquaductstraat 53,
