Modernisation works on metro line 5
From Tuesday 10 May until Wednesday 20 August 2025
Improved frequency on our metro lines? We are working on it! To this end, new signalling will be installed on the section between Merode and Herrmann-Debroux. Metro 5 is therefore interrupted after 9.15 pm between Merode and Herrmann-Debroux on certain days between 10 June and 20 August.
The works take place on the following days:
- Tuesday 10 June – Thursday 12 June
- Monday 16 June – Thursday 19 June
- Monday 23 June – Thursday 26 June
- Wednesday 2 July – Thursday 3 July
- Monday 7 July – Thursday 10 July
- Monday 18 August – Wednesday 20 August

An M-bus runs between Merode and Herrmann-Debroux via Montgomery. The stop Thieffry is not served.
