Works at place Sainctelette/Saincteletteplein
From Monday 4 August 2025 to april 2026
As part of the reconstruction of place Sainctelette/Saincteletteplein, the bridge is renovated. With these works, Brussels Mobility aims to improve the safety and comfort of all road users.
Due to these works, tram 51 is interrupted between Belgica and Marguerite Duras from Monday 4 August to April 2026 (an exact date will be communicated later on).

To ensure the works proceed smoothly, tram 51 will be interrupted between Belgica and Marguerite Duras.
We advise you to take metro 6 from Belgica to Simonis, and then transferring to metro 2 or 6 to Yser/IJzer. This station is located about 400 meters from stop Marguerite Duras.
Don't feel like walking? You can also take metro 6 at Belgica to Gare du Midi/Zuidstation and continue your journey by taking tram 51 direction Marguerite Duras.
Bus 14
Bus 14 direction UZ-VUB is not able to serve the stops Vanderstichelen and Belgica on its dedicated lane. These bus stops will be temporarily relocated to the side lane.
