Works in the rue de la Régence / Regentschapsstraat and on place Royale / Koningsplein

From Monday, January 13 to autumn 2025

Place Royale / Koningsplein is currently being transformed into a partially pedestrian zone. 

Rail tracks on the rue de la Régence / Regentschapsstraat, between the stops Poelaert and Royale / Koning, are worn, and have to be replaced.

Due to these works,

  • Tram 92 interrupted between Louise / Louiza and Parc / Park
  • Tram 93 interrupted between Louise / Louiza and Jules De Trooz

Bus 33 and 95 and the Noctis bus lines that serve the stop Petit Sablon / Kleine Zavel are redirected locally as of Tuesday 22 July.

As of Monday, January 27, tram 93 serves the stop Poelaert.

Tram 92

Tram 92 is interrupted between the stops Parc / Park and Louise / Louiza

Stops Poelaert and Petit Sablon / Kleine Zavel are still served by bus 33, and Royale / Koning by buses 38, 71 and 95.

Stop Palais / Paleizen is not served.

To travel easily between both parts of line 92, use metro lines 2 or 6 between the stations Louise / Louiza and Botanique / Kruidtuin.

Tram 93

Tram 93 is interrupted between the stops Jules De Trooz and Louise / Louiza due to these works and other works -between the stops Masui and Jules De Trooz.

Stop Petit Sablon / Kleine Zavel is still served by bus 33, stop Royale / Koning by buses 38, 71 and 95.

Stop Palais / Paleizen is not served.

Stops between Parc / Park and Saint-Marie / Sint-Maria remain served by tram 92, stops Lefrancq and Liedts by trams 25 and 62, stop Masui by bus 58.

To travel easily between both parts of line 93, use metro line 6 between the stations Louise / Louiza and Bockstael.

As of Monday, January 27, tram 93 (coming from Legrand) serves the stop Poelaert.

As of Tuesday 22 July, one-way traffic is introduced in rue de la Régence / Regentschapsstraat . Consequently:

  • Bus 33 direction Louise / Louiza is diverted between Petit Sablon / Kleine Zavel and Louise / Louiza. Stops Royale / Koning and Porte de Namur / Naamsepoort are not served.
  • Bus 95 direction Wiener is diverted between Petit Sablon / Kleine Zavel and Trône / Troon. Stop Royale / Koning is not served.
  • Bus N04 and N05 direction Cimetière de Bruxelles / Begraafplaats van Brussel and Kraainem are diverted between Petit Sablon / Kleine Zavel and Palais / Paleizen via Louise / Louiza and Porte de Namur / Naamsepoort. Stop Royale / Koning is not served.
  • Bus N08 direction Gare Centrale / Centraal Station is diverted between Trône / Troon and Royale / Koning. Stops Louise / Louiza and Petit Sablon / Kleine Zavel are not served.
  • Bus N09 and N10 direction Gare Centrale / Centraal Station is diverted between Porte de Namur / Naamsepoort and Royale / Koning via Trône / Troon. Stops Louise / Louiza and Porte de Namur / Naamsepoort are not served.
  • Bus N11 direction Homborch is diverted between Petit Sablon / Kleine Zavel and Louise / Louiza. Stops Royale . Koning and Trône / Troon are not served.
  • Bus N12 direction Gare Centrale / Centraal Station is diverted between Chapelle / Kapellekerk and Gare Centrale / Centraal Station via Madeleine / Magdalena. Stops Grand Sablon / Grote Zavel, Petit Sablon / Kleine Zavel and Royale / Koning are not served.
