Carsoel Bridge
Redevelopment of pont Carsoel/Carsoelbrug
Redevelopment works of the railway bridge on Avenue Jean et Pierre Carsoel/Jean en Pierre Carsoellaan have begun. Located at Gare de Saint-Job/Station Sint-Job, the old bridge will be demolished, and the new structure will be four times wider. This new facility will offer easy access to all modes of transport and include PRM-friendly access.
Purpose of the project
The existing pont Carsoel/Carsoelbrug has now run its course and will be demolished. A new, wider bridge will be built to create a multimodal hub, bringing together access to Gare de Saint-Job/Station Sint-Job, public transport platforms and shelters, as well as public spaces and amenities for cyclists and pedestrians.

Afterwards, the tracks will be renewed on pont Carsoel/Carsoelbrug. Throughout the works, utility services will be relocated and the energy network adjusted.
