A radiant sunshine, a cornet of "Belgian" fries, and a captivating football match. We can almost smell the World Championship. But to get there, we first have to survive our group. And our Devils hold all the cards. The first match in our country takes place on Monday 9 June at 8.45 pm in the King Baudouin stadium. And STIB-MIVB gets you there!
You don't have a ticket yet to travel with STIB-MIVB? No more queuing at the vending machine, you only need your bank card! Scan your contactless bank card, smartphone or smartwatch on the bus, tram or at the gates of metro stations and off you go. 1-0: more metros on line 6
Because we already know that all of you will travel down to the stadium en masse, we will be offering more regular services on our metro lines. Starting at 5 p.m., extra metros will run on line 6.
Depending on which stand you're in, you can get off at Houba-Brugmann (stand 1 or 2) or Heysel/Heizel (stand 3 or 4). This information can easily be found on your entrance ticket!
Please note:
From 4.30 p.m. onwards
- entrances 1 and 5 to the Avenue Impératrice Charlotte/Keizerin Charlottelaan at Heysel/Heizel will be closed
- entrance 2 to Avenue des Amandiers/Amandelbomenlaan at Roi Baudouin/Koning Boudewijn will be closed
From 10 p.m. onwards
- the station Roi Baudouin/Koning Boudewijn will be completely closed
- entrance 1 to Avenue Houba-de Strooper/Houba de Strooperlaan will be closed
2-0: our trams take you to the stadium
Tram 9 serves the Stade/Stadion stop. The tram will be limited to this stop from 6 p.m. to midnight.
Both the end stop of tram 35 (Esplanade) and the end stops of trams 7 (Heysel/Heizel), and trams 51 and 93 (Stade/Stadion) are very close to the stadium.
3-0: reach your destination with bus 83
Want to get to the King Baudouin Stadium using bus 83? If so, you can get off at the Panorama stop of De Lijn. In fact, the bus is rerouted after 4 p.m. between the Tircher and Esplanade stops via the chaussée Romaine/Romeinsesteenweg and does not serve the stops between De Heyn and Palais 12/Paleis 12.
