From Saturday, June 1st until Friday, August 30th, 2024,
- Tram 8 is replaced by a T-bus 39 between Musée du Tram / Trammuseum and Herrmann-Debroux
- Tram 39 is replaced by a T-bus between Musée du Tram / Trammuseum and Ban-Eik
- Tram 44 is replaced by a T-bus between Musée du Tram / Trammuseum and Tervuren Station
From Monday, July 29th until Friday, August 9th, there will be works on the tracks at the crossing with avenue Parmentierlaan.
Bus 36 and T-bus 39 direction Konkel / Ban-Eik are diverted between the stops Musée du Tram / Trammuseum and Rue au Bois / Bosstraat via avenue de Tervurenlaan and avenue Madouxlaan. Stops de Villalobar (T-bus 44) and Madoux (avenue Madouxlaan 11) are served.
Stops Kelle, Mertens and Mareyde are not served. Stop Musée du Tram / Trammuseum in the avenue Parmentierlaan is moved to avenue de Tervurenlaan, next to the Mellaerts ponds.
Buses direction Maelbeek / Maalbeek and Herrmann-Debroux, as well as T-bus 44, are operated normally.

Works
After years of loyal service, the tram tracks in the avenue de Tervurenlaan have to be replaced. The global works will continue until mid-2025.
The tracks between boulevard de la Woluwe / Woluwelaan and boulevard du Souverain / Vorstlaan are replaced from Saturday, June 1st to Friday, August 30th, causing the interruption of trams 8, 39 and 44.
From Saturday, September 1st, the section between Auderghem-Forêt / Oudergem-Woud and Quatre-Bras / Vier Armen will be done. Tram 44 will remain interrupted, but trams 8 and 39 will be operated normally.

Alternatives
Despite our best efforts, a T-bus cannot offer the same speed as tram lines that dispose of a separate tram lane, which can impact your travel habits.
Therefore, do not hesitate to consult the route planner, Google Maps or the Floya app to find the best routes and transport modes for your trips.
In addition to the T-bus, the following lines connect the different stops, impacted by the interruption.
- Metro 1 (between Montgomery and Stockel / Stokkel)
- Bus 36 (between Chien Vert/Groene Hond /Musée du Tram/Trammuseum and Rue au Bois/Bosstraat / Stockel/Stokkel.
Tram 8
The trams are replaced by a T-bus 39 between Musée du Tram / Trammuseum and Herrmann-Debroux.
Until Friday, July 5th, trams coming from Roodebeek have their terminus at the usual stop direction Louise / Louiza. As of Saturday, July 6th, trams have their terminus at a temporary stop in the boulevard de la Woluwe / Woluwelaan.
After Musée du Tram / Trammuseum, the T-bus continues to Ban-Eik. The T-bus operates with line number 39 on its complete route.
Tram 39 44
Tram 39 is replaced by a T-bus between Musée du Tram / Trammuseum and Ban-Eik, tram 44 is replaced by a T-bus between Musée du Tram / Trammuseum and Tervuren Station.
T-bus 39 operates between Ban-Eik and Herrmann-Debroux, as a replacement line of tram 39 between Ban-Eik and Musée du Tram / Trammuseum, and of tram 8 between Musée du Tram / Trammuseum and Herrmann-Debroux.
T-bus 44 operates between Montgomery and Tervuren Station. It does not serve the stops GJ Martin, Leopold II, Jules César / Julius Caesar and Chien Vert / Groene Hond, that are still served by the trams. Stops Drève des Brûlés / Verbrandendreef and Tir aux Pigeons / Duivenschieting are also not served.
Stops de Villalobar and Madoux are served only by T-bus 44.

T-bus 39 is operated between the stops Ban-Eik and Herrmann-Debroux.
Connection with tram 39 to Montgomery and with tram 8 to Roodebeek takes place at Musée du Tram / Trammuseum.
