Why use widgets?
A widget is a visual tool that allows you to access information at a glance.
It has the advantage of being displayed on your home screen for quick reference, without having to dig through your app menu. An example? The weather module on your smartphone.
The STIB-MIVB mobile app offers several widgets designed to make your life easier. You no longer need to open the app or go to the website to find out the waiting time at your stop, search for a route or see the information on your favourite line. Just open your home screen and you are all set.

The STIB-MIVB widgets
The “My addresses” widget allows you to directly search for a route from or to one of your saved addresses. This is very useful when you are travelling to a new destination.
Thanks to “My lines”, you can see directly the planned diversions on your line or easily consult the location of the vehicles.
Finally, “My stops” enables you to see the next departures at once. This saves precious time when your bus arrives in 4 minutes...
How does it work?
To add a new widget, go to one of the home screens on your smartphone, long press on a free slot and select “+” (iOS) or “Widgets” (Android). All you have to do is choose from the available selection. In order for a widget to be displayed, the corresponding application must be installed on your phone.
Are you using the STIB-MIVB mobile app with a login? In this case, you automatically have access to the three widgets “My addresses”, “My lines” and “My stops”. If this is not the case, it means that your login details are not registered in the app. Log in and save your favourite stops, routes or addresses. Now all you have to do is choose a slot on your phone and scroll through the available widgets or search on the word “STIB” or “MIVB”.
