Validate my JUMP ticket ?
You can use a vending machine of the SNCB in the station or on the platform. On the home screen, select the option JUMP and on the next screen, select "Validate".
Possible to travel on the De Lijn, TEC ?
No, you can not use another transport operator with a STIB season ticket (65+ or OMNIO). If you wish to travel with the other transport companies, you need to load a transport ticket of that operator on your MOBIB card. The STIB MOBIB card accepts all transport tickets from the other companies.
Special free card on the other networks?
The validity of your free card has not changed on the 21 April 2015. If you could travel with the other operators, this has not changed. If this is not the case, your card is not valid on the other networks.
Ticket Return trip still available?
Yes, but only on MOBIB cards. You can still purchase two paper tickets of 1 journey.
I have purchased 10 journeys at € 12,50?
My MOBIB card contains 10 journeys?
If your card contains 10 journeys at € 12,50 and 10 at € 14, the JUMP journeys will always be validated first, namely the 10 journeys at € 14.
JUMP ticket not valid. Why?
Have you validated your MOBIB card at a vending machine of the SNCB? (cf. question Where can I validate my JUMP ticket if I want to take the train?)
Are you still in an MTB zone? (stations in the Region of Brussels)
Does your MOBIB card work correctly? If this is not the case, go to a KIOSK or BOOTIK to change it. If you have a MOBIB card from another transport company, please contact that operator.
Cannot reload my MOBIB card?
First, go to a STIB GO vending machine so that our system recognizes your card. Next, you can purchase your transport ticket via "Express Purchase". You can also create a profile on MyBOOTIK (if this is not yet the case) and link your card to your profile.
SNCB + De Lijn ticket on a MOBIB card?
Yes. To do so, go to a ticket counter or a vending machine of the SNCB. In this context, we inform you that every transport company stays in charge of the transport tickets it sold, even if these can be loaded on any MOBIB card, independently from the operator which sold the MOBIB card.
Old 10 journeys still valid?
The old journeys are still valid, but only on the STIB network.
Journeys of a paper card to a MOBIB?
Until the end of 2016, STIB has set up a procedure so as to avoid losing the remaining journeys on your paper card. To do so, go to a KIOSK or BOOTIK.
Transfer a STIB ticket to a SNCB?
It is not possible to transfer a transport ticket to another card. You can however purchase a STIB season ticket and ask to load it on a MOBIB card from another operator (SNCB, De Lijn, TEC).
